Job Summary
Facility Operator at a Las Vegas, NV facility responsible for producing neat and polymer modified asphalt oil, loading/unloading trucks and railcars, testing products in the lab, recording batch data, and ensuring quality. The role works in the tank farm as part of a team to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, perform minor maintenance on pumps/racks/mixers, participate in daily production/quality/EHS meetings, follow safety procedures and PPE protocols, and communicate with operators, management, trucking partners, and customers. Requires outdoor work in varying weather, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic math, Excel proficiency (preferred), and the ability to read and follow written instructions. Pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR may be required; 401(k), health benefits, and other perks offered.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel (preferred)
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to learn computer skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds with assistance and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, climbing tanks and other structures
- Valid driver's license
- Able to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Sunday
- Outdoor work in all seasons
