Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions - Director of Health and Safety

Lead a team of safety professionals supporting Ergon Asphalt & Crafco operations throughout the US by developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards, lead incident investigations, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor workplace conditions, manage emergency response planning, and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external safety audits. Design and deliver safety training programs for employees and management while collaborating with HR and leadership to drive a proactive safety culture. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, compliance reports, and metrics. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards.
