Job Summary
Lead day water investigations and act as project lead for complex assignments involving stormwater planning, modeling of flash flood and flood risk issues, and action planning. Drive work across all project stages from strategic analysis to detailed engineering, including site visits, sampling, and follow-up. Manage project planning, execution, budgeting, and client dialogue while producing and quality-assuring reports, project management documents, and decision-making materials. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary colleagues across national offices in Norrland on varied assignments, requiring frequent travel and strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Required Qualifications
- several years of experience working on stormwater studies
- experience handling both technical and strategic issues
- experience working on stormwater studies
- experience working on stormwater strategies
- experience working on climate adaptation
- previous leadership role in assignments, such as assignment leader or project leader
- relevant higher education or university degree
- equivalent experience to a degree
- good familiarity with commonly used tools in the field, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, Scalgo and StormTac
- Swedish and English fluency in speech and writing
Desired Qualifications
- experience with modeling tools such as MIKE+, TUFLOW and HEC-RAS
