Job Summary

Design, develop, and evaluate enterprise revenue cycle training programs, translating complex workflows into clear, performance-based learning solutions. Apply instructional design methodologies to create blended learning experiences that address performance gaps and align with business objectives. Lead medium-sized education projects, manage stakeholder communications, and conduct curriculum audits to drive continuous improvement. Deliver instructor-led and virtual training while mentoring team members and analyzing learner data to recommend education strategies. Maintain Epic Revenue Cycle expertise and support cross-functional initiatives to reinforce training adoption across UW Medicine's institutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Education, Instructional Design, Technical Writing, English, or related
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare instructional design, clinical education, patient access, or patient financial services
  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing training curricula that integrate technology, workflows, and adult learning principles in a complex healthcare environment
  • 1+ year of experience delivering training across multiple learning modalities (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, etc.)
  • 1+ year of experience leading or coordinating projects in cross-functional healthcare environments
  • Current Epic Revenue Cycle proficiency or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  • Experience developing multimedia and eLearning content using tools such as Captivate, Amplifire, or similar authoring platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Epic Revenue Cycle workflows and EHR training in inpatient, ambulatory, or acute care settings
  • Strong communication, facilitation, project management, analytical, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to translate complex workflows into effective educational content
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities and driving continuous improvement
  • Must be able to be onsite for training/as business needs dictate
