ER Technician I, PRN, Shift varies

Perform basic patient care with minimal supervision across all age groups, including obtaining EKGs, venipuncture, and transporting patients. Accurately check and record vital signs, report abnormalities to licensed staff, and promptly answer call lights to provide necessary assistance. Collect specimens per policy, assist with ambulation, feeding, and toilet needs, and maintain equipment and supply stocks. Report patient changes, problems, or complaints to appropriate personnel while following direction of licensed staff with minimal guidance. Requires a high school diploma, BLS certification before orientation, and excellent communication skills for a fast-paced environment.
