ER Tech - PRN as needed position

Conduct patient admissions by interviewing representatives, recording personal and insurance details, and entering data into the hospital computer system. Escort patients to assigned rooms, collect specimens, and deliver samples to the lab while obtaining signed statements to protect hospital interests. Perform non-clinical duties including taking vital signs, administering oxygen, performing EKGs, and providing personal care under RN direction. Manage office functions by answering phones, receiving payments, filing records, and cleaning patient rooms and stockrooms. Requires good secretarial skills, computer knowledge, and ability to handle public. Must be self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities.
