Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room for a travel contract in Moses Lake, WA. 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include performing assessments and data collection, implementing care plans, identifying patient learning needs with teaching plans, accurate documentation in electronic medical records, delegating care activities and supervising team members, and functioning as Charge Nurse when required. Maintain safety and compliance with policies, pursue professional development, and support patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include WA RN licensure, BLS within 30 days of hire, ACLS and PALS to be obtained within specified timeframes, and at least 1 year of ER experience. The role requires strong critical thinking, crisis management, CPR ability, and emotional stability to handle high-stress situations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Washington State RN Licensure
- HCP Level of BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications to be obtained within specified timeframes
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Ability to perform CPR and manage multiple pieces of equipment
- Emotional stability to handle high-stress situations
