Job Summary
Coordinate and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes, and delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses. Identify communication barriers, provide patient and family education, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and infection control procedures. Utilize critical thinking skills to work effectively with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations. Requires current Colorado RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, STABLE, and NRP certifications, plus one year of Emergency Department experience. Nights shift for 13-week contract in Craig, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Current STABLE certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years experience in setting
- 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care Nursing experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
