Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) PRN with alternating shifts in a rural, non-profit critical access hospital. Provide professional nursing care across all ages, including administering medications and IVs, monitoring patient conditions, recording vital signs, and reporting changes. Assess and evaluate patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, apply nursing judgment, and collaborate with the nursing team to develop and execute a Plan of Care. Responsible for direct and indirect patient care, supervising ancillary staff, and adapting to cross-training opportunities as needed. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current Kansas RN licensure; BLS is required; ACLS preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, required
- Current Registered Nurse licensure with the State of Kansas, required
- BLS, required
- ACLS certification, preferred
- Bachelor's or master’s degree, preferred
- Emergency Room experience, preferred
- Willingness to cross train and cover other positions and responsibilities as needed
