ER Registered Nurse (FT NIGHTS)

Job Summary
Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room while prioritizing age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing interventions. Maintain patient privacy, follow physician orders, and perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures. Collect laboratory samples, adhere to infection control protocols, and assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures. Document accurate and concise medical records, participate in quality assessment activities, and attend staff meetings as required. Requires current state licensure, 2+ years of ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Full-time night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions
- 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- ENPC certification from ENA (substituted for PALS)
- Fluency in English
- Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years
- Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years
