ER Registered Nurse - FT Days

Job Summary
Administer patient care and special procedures, assess clients, and implement plans of care in an ER hospital setting. Distribute and document medications, including narcotics, while ensuring safety and infection control practices are followed. Delegate tasks safely, respond to emergency situations, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Maintain complete documentation, evaluate client needs, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs. Respond to changes in client condition by reporting to physicians and updating care plans. Maintain confidentiality and keep current with nursing trends through required in-service programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current RN license issued by the State of Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Current BLS (or obtained within 30 day of hire)
- Current ACLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Current PALS (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Two (2) years of full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Constant standing and walking is required
- Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and tugging is required
- Individual must have the physical strength and agility position patients for all evaluations and procedures
- HRSA - Nurse Corps eligible
- HRSA - STAR Program eligible
