ER Registered Nurse

Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge. Observe and record signs, symptoms, and behaviors; collect laboratory samples and perform testing per COLA and CLIA regulations. Follow physician orders, maintain patient privacy, and adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques. Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures while documenting care accurately in medical records. Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures and participate in quality assessment activities. Requires Associate's Degree or BSN, current RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Pennsylvania candidates must provide Act 33 and Act 73 clearances.
