Job Summary
ER Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department responsible for assessing and treating patients with acute and critical conditions in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include triage, monitoring and documenting patient conditions, administering medications and IV fluids, performing procedures within scope, collaborating with ED physicians and other staff, educating patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and adhering to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Requires RN license in Montana (or ability to obtain), BSN preferred, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC/ENPC certifications (or obtained within 6 months). Minimum of 2 years of Emergency or Critical Care nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (required)
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications (required or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing (required)
