Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by processing orders and dispensing drugs according to established policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes that promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to the educational goals of the department while enhancing pharmacy process performance and accuracy. Maintain preceptor licensure with the OK State Board of Pharmacy and support ACGME accreditation reporting. This role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and up to $81.87/hr with weekday evening and night differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
