Job Summary
Conduct clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy operations, and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for all patients daily. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate the development and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes to promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies across all age groups. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and contribute to educational goals while enhancing pharmacy process performance and accuracy. Maintain ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements for external agencies. Requires Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure and preceptorship; offers $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and up to $81.87/hr with various differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
