Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by participating in clinical and distributive pharmacy services. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Contribute to departmental educational goals and enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes. Requires Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure and ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship. Up to $81.87/hr with various differentials and a $20,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
