Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by processing orders, dispensing medications, and participating in departmental clinical programs. Facilitate the development and maintenance of pharmacy processes and programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Contribute to the educational goals of the department while enhancing performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to improve outcomes. Maintain ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. Weekday evening and night differentials apply, with weekend premiums available. $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available. Requires pharmacist licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy and a Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
