Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients while participating in departmental clinical programs. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate the development and maintenance of clinical and distributive pharmacy processes to promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to educational goals and enhance pharmacy process performance to improve overall outcomes. Maintain preceptor licensure and pursue board certification in related practice areas. This role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and up to $81.87/hr with various differentials. We offer medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
