Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients while participating in all clinical and distributive pharmacy services. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical processes and pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to departmental educational goals and enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to improve outcomes. Maintain preceptor licensure and ASHP-endorsed residency program preceptorship upon hire. Requires Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree, active OK State Board of Pharmacy licensure, and preferred PGY1 residency experience. Compensation includes up to $81.87/hr with various differentials and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
