Job Summary
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective therapies for all patients. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes that promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to educational goals and enhance pharmacy performance, accuracy, and efficiency to improve overall outcomes. Maintain preceptor licensure and support the administration of ACGME accreditation reporting requirements to external agencies. Weekday evening and night differentials apply, with weekend premiums stacking on applicable shifts. Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Requires current Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure and PGY1 residency preceptorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
