Job Summary
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients while participating in departmental targeted clinical programs. Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes to promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to the educational goals of the department and enhance pharmacy process performance and accuracy. Requires Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure in good standing, a Pharm D or B.S. in Pharmacy, and availability for weekday evening and weekend shifts with applicable differentials. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
