Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by processing orders and dispensing drugs according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes to promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to educational goals and enhance pharmacy process performance, accuracy, and efficiency. Requires licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy, a Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy degree, and availability for weekday and weekend shifts with applicable differentials. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
