Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by processing orders and dispensing drugs according to established policies and protocols. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development of pharmacy programs promoting desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Contribute to educational goals and enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety. Maintain preceptor licensure and achieve residency program preceptorship upon hire. This role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a base rate up to $81.87/hr with various differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
