Job Summary
Conduct clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy operations, and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for all patients daily. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements while participating in targeted clinical programs. Facilitate the development and maintenance of pharmacy processes that promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies across all age groups. Contribute to departmental educational goals and enhance process performance to improve patient outcomes. Maintain licensure with the OK State Board of Pharmacy and preceptorship requirements. Weekday evening and night differentials apply, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
