Job Summary
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective therapies for all patients. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes that promote desirable patient outcomes. Contribute to the educational goals of the department and enhance pharmacy process performance to improve outcomes. Maintain preceptor licensure and ASHP-endorsed residency program preceptorship, while supporting the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. Work weekday evenings and nights with applicable differentials, earning up to $81.87/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
