Job Summary
Conduct clinical pharmacy services, process orders, and dispense medications according to established policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development of processes that promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Ensure age-appropriate medication therapies while contributing to educational goals and enhancing pharmacy process efficiency. Maintain ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. Requires a Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy, active licensure with the OK State Board of Pharmacy, and preceptorship in a residency program. Offers $81.87/hr plus various differentials, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
