Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by participating in all clinical pharmacy services and supporting distributive pharmacy operations. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements while facilitating the development and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes. Contribute to departmental educational goals and enhance pharmacy process performance to promote patient safety and improve outcomes. Maintain preceptor licensure and ASHP-endorsed residency program preceptorship upon hire. Weekday evening and night differentials apply with a $20,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
