Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by processing orders, dispensing drugs, and supporting distributive pharmacy services. Facilitate the development and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes to promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and contribute to educational goals while enhancing pharmacy process performance and accuracy. Maintain ACGME accreditation reporting requirements and achieve ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship. Requires Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure and a Pharm D or B.S. in Pharmacy. $81.87/hr with weekday/night/weekend differentials, $20,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
