Job Summary
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements while ensuring age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective therapies for all patients. Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs and facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes to promote optimal pharmaceutical care. Contribute to educational goals and enhance pharmacy process performance to improve patient outcomes. Requires Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure, ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship, and a Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy. Includes $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and up to $81.87/hr with various differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
