Job Summary
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements while ensuring age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective therapies for all patients. Participate in departmental clinical programs, facilitate the development and maintenance of pharmacy processes, and contribute to educational goals. Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies to promote patient safety and improve outcomes. Maintain licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy and achieve or maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship. Work weekday evenings and nights with applicable differentials, earning up to $81.87/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
