Job Summary
Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients by participating in all clinical and distributive pharmacy services. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements while facilitating the development and maintenance of pharmacy programs. Contribute to departmental targeted clinical programs and educational goals to enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency. Maintain preceptor licensure and ASHP-endorsed residency program preceptorship upon hire. Requires Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy licensure and a Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy. Up to $81.87/hr with weekday and weekend differentials, plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
