Job Summary
Participate in all clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy operations, and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for patients daily. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements while contributing to departmental targeted clinical programs. Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for all patients while enhancing the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes. Maintain preceptor licensure and ASHP-endorsed residency program preceptorship upon hire, with an option to achieve board certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area
