Job Summary
ER Manager overseeing a 7-bed ED at Palo Verde Hospital in a rural California setting. Lead daily operations, supervise nurses and support staff, develop and enforce department policies, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor performance and implement improvements, collaborate with other departments, manage budgets and resources, ensure equipment and supplies availability, foster a positive, professional work environment, and stay current with best practices in emergency medicine. Requires current California RN license, BSN (Masters preferred), ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, NIHSS preferred, and 3+ years leadership with 5+ years ED RN experience; Cerner experience preferred.
