Job Summary
Equity Research Senior Associate on Citi's Fintech team responsible for developing and maintaining financial models for Fintech companies, publishing earnings previews and recap notes, initiating reports, deep-dive thematic notes, and coordinating investor events. Engage with institutional clients and company management to address inquiries, collaborate with senior analysts to ensure high-quality research, and mentor junior colleagues as the team grows. Strong emphasis on analytical rigor, independence of thought, regulatory compliance, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in equity research or a closely related investment analysis function, with a focus on the Fintech sector
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial modelling techniques applied to equity analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, or a related field
- Active FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87, or the ability and commitment to obtain and maintain these licenses
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
