Job Summary
Associate in Equity Research covering Semiconductors responsible for building Excel-based models, performing detailed valuation, analyzing complex data sets and regulatory filings, writing research notes and sector reports, and presenting insights to internal and external clients; collaborates with Sales and Trading to fulfill client requests for market updates and market intelligence; requires strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills, modelling, forecasting, and valuation, with FINRA Series 86 and 87 licenses and 2-3 years of equity research/investment banking experience; location in New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 86 and Series 87
- Two to three years of experience in equity research and/or investment banking
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business communication skills, as well as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently
- High level of organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
