Job Summary
Equity Research Associate focusing on Technology Hardware (Telecom & Networking Equipment). Build and maintain Excel-based models to forecast companyfinancials and project industry dynamics; perform detailed valuation work to support stock recommendations; analyze complex data sets, earnings releases, regulatory filings, and industry events; write research notes and sector reports; present to internal and external clients; collaborate with Sales and Trading to fulfill client requests. Requires strong accounting/finance skills, quantitative ability, and strong written communication; familiarity with CFA concepts and coding capabilities (e.g., VBA, Python) is preferred. Location: New York, NY. Licenses Series 86 and 87 are required; CFA preferred. End-to-end responsibilities include modeling, forecasting, valuation, stock recommendations, and client-focused deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA licenses Series 86 and Series 87
- Two to three years of experience in equity research and/or investment banking
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business communication skills, as well as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience
