Job Summary
Equity Research Analyst for Greater China Financials (Taipei, Taiwan). Responsible for analyzing banks, insurance companies, securities firms, and leasing companies within Greater China; build and maintain financial models, perform valuation and industry analysis; write research notes and comprehensive reports; engage with internal/external clients and collaborate with sales/trading to provide market updates and intelligence. Requires strong accounting/finance skills, advanced Excel, and fluency in English and Mandarin; CFA designation progress or Senior Securities Broker license is a plus; 1-3 years of equity research experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong accounting, quantitative, and finance skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and oral communication skills; fluency in English and Mandarin
- Experience with building financial models, forecasting, and valuation
- Interest in the Greater China financial sector (banks, insurance, securities, leasing)
- 1-3 years equity research experience preferred
- Knowledge of Greater China financial sector dynamics is highly desirable
