Job Summary
Equity Research Associate focusing on Clean Energy, building and maintaining Excel-based financial models, performing detailed valuation, analyzing earnings releases and regulatory filings, writing research notes and sector reports, and communicating with internal and external clients. Collaborative role with Sales and Trading to provide market updates and intelligence; requires Series 86/87, 2-3 years in equity research or investment banking, strong Excel/modelling/valuation skills, and an interest in the Clean Energy sector.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 86
- FINRA Series 87
- Two to three years of experience in equity research and/or investment banking
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business communication skills, as well as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently
- High level of organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Passion for the markets and interest in Clean Energy sector
- Some coding capabilities – e.g., VBA, Python
Desired Qualifications
- FINRA Series 86

- 2-3 years of experience in equity research and/or investment banking
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel
- CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA
