Job Summary
Conduct equity strategy research and draft reports on index price targets, sector allocation, and portfolio construction. Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of the China equity market, including A-shares and offshore spaces, to generate long-term thematic trends and near-term commentary. Address client requests through underlying analysis and communication drafting, while engaging in live interactions via in-person meetings, calls, and webcasts. Leverage AI capabilities in quantitative analysis and maintain fluency in Mandarin and English. Required Qualifications
- Experience in equity strategy research within a top tier sell side or buy side firm
- Experience in dealing with equity asset class concepts and performing both fundamental, thematic and quantitative analysis
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equity strategy research or relevant areas
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and in live client interaction
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading and writing)
- Experience with both the A-share market and the offshore China equity space
