Job Summary
Write research reports including company initiations, industry thought pieces, and earnings recaps. Build dynamic industry models consisting of integrated Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow Statements. Source alternative data sets and simplify relevant industry and company information for inclusion in research reports. Conduct proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape and analyze industry/company news. Create and maintain relationships with industry contacts. Help senior team members prepare for marketing events and conferences. This role requires Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses, CFA level 1, and 2-3 years of equity research or banking experience. Competitive base salary of $100,000-150,000 plus discretionary bonus. Onsite hybrid working program with varying remote opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of prior equity research experience
- Prior experience in banking
- Series 7 license
- Series 63 license
- Series 86 license
- Series 87 license
- CFA level 1
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Prior experience building models and DCF-based valuation methodology
- Effective oral communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Ability to function independently
