Job Summary
Conduct extensive company and industry research in partnership with senior analysts to create financial models, valuation analyses, and investment recommendations. Write company and industry reports while forming relationships with management teams through meetings, calls, and roadshows. Make company visits and attend industry conferences to develop sector expertise. This role requires 1-3 years of equity research or investment banking experience, a strong interest in the stock market, and proficiency in financial modeling. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain Securities Industry Essentials, Series 86, and 87. Starting salary ranges from $80,000 to $130,000 annually with eligibility for annual incentive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Equity Research or Investment Banking experience
- Ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires the ability to think quickly on one's feet and work independently
- A strong interest in the stock market
- A demonstrated record of professional, academic and personal achievement
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills
- Outstanding quantitative and organizational skills
- A strong competitive spirit balanced by a proven ability to work as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Electrical Engineering or related degrees
- Strong financial modeling experience
- Securities Industry Essentials, Series 86 and 87
- Willingness to obtain Securities Industry Essentials, Series 86 and 87
