Job Summary
Conduct in-depth research on FinTech companies and subsectors, building robust financial models for earnings forecasts, valuations, and scenario planning. Author high-quality research reports, investment recommendations, and thematic pieces while analyzing market, competitive, and regulatory trends. Communicate investment ideas to institutional clients and internal stakeholders, preparing materials for meetings, roadshows, and conferences. Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on expanding the equity research division.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting, or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, accounting, and valuation methodologies
- SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 exams passed (or willingness to obtain them promptly upon hire)
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or CFA designation (or candidacy)
- Familiarity with industry data platforms and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude
