Job Summary
Lead equity portfolio management for AIA Bhd., overseeing local and regional stocks, developing investment processes, and producing market and sector research. Responsibilities include managing the equity portfolio to meet targets, covering markets and sectors, monthly market and funds overview reports, and collaborating on special projects, while ensuring adherence to investment parameters. Required skills include deep capital markets knowledge, financial modelling and valuation techniques, strong analytical and communication abilities, and experience in regional equity portfolios; CFA or advanced finance degree is highly desirable; minimum 10 years in equity research and portfolio management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- CFA charter holder or holder of an advanced degree in Investment, Finance, or Portfolio Management is highly desirable
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in equity research and portfolio management, with a strong track record in local and Asian markets
- Deep understanding of capital markets, financial modelling, and company valuation techniques
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and investment-related technology platforms
- Experience in managing regional equity portfolios is a significant advantage
