Job Summary
Coordinate communications, meeting logistics, and budget tracking for the American Academy of Pediatrics Equity Initiatives team. Create and disseminate educational materials, manage expense reports, and process contracts while supporting the Chief Health Equity Officer. Monitor member recruitment, compile peer review feedback, and assist with federal funding proposals. Maintain email lists, manage conflict-of-interest systems, and respond to constituent inquiries. Perform some overtime, weekend work, and travel. Hybrid work 40% in-office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, health education, public health, or related field
- At least two years' related general administrative and/or project coordination experience
- Experience coordinating project components
- Experience coordinating meetings
- Experience processing and tracking expenses
- Experience drafting presentation documents, correspondence, and/or communication materials
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external constituents

Desired Qualifications
