Job Summary
Structure, negotiate, and execute a wide range of equity products, with a primary focus on OTC equity derivatives, swaps, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, equity and fund-linked loans, structured notes, and proprietary indices. Advise on the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis, and launch of new products and businesses. Interpret and assist with the implementation of regulatory changes impacting Equities businesses, while advising internally on legal, regulatory issues, and risks. Assist with ongoing advocacy efforts relating to regulatory changes. Requires strong experience with equity products, including OTC derivatives and swaps, familiarity with ISDA documentation, and knowledge of corporate, securities, creditor, finance, and bankruptcy laws.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with equity products, including OTC derivatives and swaps
- Familiarity with ISDA and other industry documentation
- Familiarity with corporate, securities, creditor, finance and bankruptcy laws and related issues
- Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with all levels of staff and management
- Ability to work independently and respond proactively to business needs
- Strong team player
