Job Summary
Administer equity compensation programs by processing grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations while maintaining accurate records in internal systems and with external vendors. Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, tax laws, and company policies, then prepare and review equity-related disclosures for financial statements and proxy filings. Respond to employee inquiries regarding awards and tax implications, collaborate with HR, payroll, and finance teams, and generate reports to support management decision-making. Assist with annual and quarterly reporting, audits, and the development of employee training materials. This role sits within the Corporate Treasury team at Stanley Black & Decker, a global leader in tools and innovative technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in compensation, finance, or HR
- Strong understanding of equity compensation vehicles (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs) and related regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
- Familiarity with equity administration platforms (e.g., Merrill Lynch & Computershare)
- Strong understanding of equity compensation vehicles (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs) and related regulations
Desired Qualifications
