Job Summary
Equity Analyst in Public Real Estate Securities based in Hong Kong; responsibilities include due diligence and financial modeling, market engagement, idea generation, and ad-hoc support for portfolio management and investor reporting. Requires 2–5 years of buy-side or sell-side equity research experience, preferred experience in listed real estate securities, a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate/Finance/Economics, strong financial modeling skills, and excellent English communication; Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese language skills are a plus. Hybrid work arrangement in Hong Kong with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in buy-side or sell-side equity research roles
- Experience with listed real estate securities is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Proven expertise in financial modeling at both the corporate (company) and individual asset levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and logically
- Fluency in an additional Asian language (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese) is a strong advantage
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and pressure
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, while equally open-minded and adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and colleagues at all levels
