Job Summary
Process RSU releases, option exercises, and ESPP purchases in E*TRADE Equity Edge Online while overseeing high-risk equity workstreams and ensuring strict adherence to SOX controls. Serve as a preparer or reviewer for new equity grants, manage global equity reporting and tax compliance, and coordinate with Accounting, Tax, People, and Legal teams to resolve exceptions and deliver accurate withholding data. Maintain process narratives, procedures, and flow charts to keep equity cycles audit-ready, while driving initiatives to leverage automation tools and AI-assisted solutions. Support Section 16 officer transactions, deliver employee equity education, and partner with B2B relationships including transfer agents and trustees to manage complex, deadline-driven processes across international jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of equity or stock plan administration experience
- time at a U.S. public company
- Bachelor's degree
- ideally in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation
- Deep hands-on experience with a stock plan administration platform
- Solid command of equity mechanics
- Solid command of the compliance framework around them
- including U.S. and international tax withholding and reporting
- including ASC 718 concepts
- including Section 16 and Rule 10b5-1
- including SOX controls
- Discretion and integrity in handling highly confidential compensation and personal data
- Demonstrated ability to own a complex, deadline-driven process independently
- ability to escalate the right issues at the right time
