Job Summary
Conduct daily operations, organization, and housekeeping for the NYCC equipment yard to ensure tools and consumables are tracked, maintained, and rental-ready. Oversee maintenance schedules and repairs using Align software, coordinate vendor and in-house repairs, and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple job sites. Lead yard employees, manage training, and enforce OSHA compliance while reporting safety incidents. Coordinate loading, shipping, and deliveries, assess equipment needs with managers, and utilize preferred vendors for leasing and procurement. Develop cost-effective strategies to control expenses and recommend lifecycle upgrades. Work long days including evenings and weekends in both office and field environments, lifting up to 50 lbs. and operating heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in equipment management within construction, industrial, or heavy equipment industries
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, equipment maintenance, and logistics
- Experience with budgeting, procurement, and vendor negotiations
- Understanding of OSHA and safety regulations related to equipment usage
- OSHA 30 certification
- Forklift Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment
- Must be available for evenings and weekends
