Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and restore a wide variety of construction rental equipment to correct working order, including diagnosing and fixing hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drive components, and typical mechanical failures. Exhibit positive interaction with customers, employees, management, and equipment manufacturers while upholding safety practices and standards. Maintain accurate records for repair orders, parts ordering, and timekeeping, ensuring a clean work area and proper tool condition. Complete and submit all required paperwork within requested timeframes while wearing all necessary PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of verifiable experience as a Construction Rental Equipment Mechanic
- Valid Driver License
- Knowledge of safe operation of Construction Rental Equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- proficient in mechanical systems (transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.)
- Able to lift 30 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 80 pounds independently or with assistance
- valid driver's license
